Drumconner Residential Care Home has launched a ‘Postcards of Friendship’ campaign, asking all those in the local area to send postcards to their elderly residents.
The health, wellbeing and safety of our patients, their families and our people is our priority at Drumconner Nursing Homes.
We fully understand that our residents and their families will be concerned about coronavirus, and we want to assure you that as a company and across our network of Medical Support we’re closely monitoring the evolving situation and following the guidelines issued by the UK Government and Public Health England and taking into account other Government advice.
Current status of our Homes
We’re open and continuing to provide care as normal but not allowing visitors in to the home at this time.
We are still open for enquiries but whilst awaiting Government advice, all assessments, consultations and family updates will be provided via telephone or skype, not on a face-to-face basis.
We are increasing the level of our in-house activities for the residents to reduce the risk of social isolation and ensure that your loved ones remain happy and healthy.
Please contact the home for further information.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time.
Drumconner residents have the chance to enjoy wonderful live entertainment on a weekly basis. Here’s a quick glance at some good ol’ swing music from the extremely talented local singer Paul Walker at Drumconner Bournemouth.
Drumconner was proud and honoured to be invited to walk the Remembrance Sunday parade. We were picked throughout the whole country to represent nursing homes.
Fiona McKinley – Is an extremely talented Local singer who visits us at Drumconner Bournemouth on a regular basis, performing a variety of music from across the decades!
